In June 2010, I graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). I also received minors in professional writing with an emphasis in multimedia, as well as education with an emphasis in applied psychology. During my four years at UCSB, I was very active on campus and completed several internships and job experiences. Some highlights include serving as President of the campus organization, Communication Association; working as a Public Relations Intern at SurfMedia Communications; and acting as the Marketing Coordinator for State Farm Agent, Julia Tipolt.
Some of my personal interests include traveling to new places, eating different types of cuisine, listening to live music, and taking photographs. I also enjoy writing and working with design, layout, and color. Being an active consumer of music, television, and media, I hope to use my passion for writing and design to break into one of these exciting fields.
Following graduation, I had the exciting opportunity to travel to Europe. I visited over thirteen cities, including London, Paris, Amsterdam, Heidelberg, Lucerne, Venice, Florence, Rome, Nice, Provence, Barcelona, Madrid, and Lisbon. Now that I have returned, I am pursuing full-time employment in a marketing and public relations position in Southern California.
